Where do I learn?
It is recommended that for your first lesson you learn on closed flat water. Typically we teach our flat-water lessons on Carlsbad Lagoon, which is located in the North County coastal area of San Diego, or also at our secondary Mission Bay location. If someone has previous paddleboard experience and/or prefers an open water lesson they may also be accommodated at one of our many beach locations. Open water Ocean Paddle Surf Lesson locations vary depending on swell direction and tide. We are completely mobile, so if there is a body of water closer to where you are and it allows Paddle Boarding, we can come to you!

Directions to 4700 Bayshore Drive, Carlsbad Ca, 92008.
* This location has several Paddle Board Schools near by. Please look for our 2 Stand Up Guys Trailer or White Van on Bayshore Drive. We want to assure you take your lesson with the best company out there, 2 Stand Up Guys!
From North of Carlsbad
Take I-5 south to Tamarack Ave.
Exit freeway and turn left on Tamarack Ave heading east.
Go straight up the hill past the school on your left.
Turn right on Park Dr heading south.
Follow Park down towards the Lagoon.
Turn Right on Bayshore Dr.
Park at the end of the cul-de-sac.
Follow pathway to Lagoon.
From South of Carlsbad
Take I-5 north to Tamarack Ave.
Exit freeway and turn right on Tamarack Ave heading east.
Go straight up the hill past the school on your left.
Turn right on Park Dr heading south.
Follow Park down towards the Lagoon.
Turn Right on Bayshore Dr.
Park at the end of the cul-de-sac.
Follow pathway to Lagoon.

Mission Bay (Bonita Cove)
Directions to Bonita Cove (south west dirt lot)
- From South or East San Diego, take I-8 to the Sports Arena Blvd. exit, make a right onto West Mission Bay Drive and continue on to West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Continue over the bridge and the parking lot will be on the left-hand side. (Mariners Way) continue left into the parking lot following east along side the road until the paved road turns into a dirt lot. You will see our van or trailer and we will be teaching at the cove to your right (west side)
- From North San Diego, take I-5 to the Sea World Drive exit, make a right onto Sea World Drive and continue on to West Mission Bay Drive ramp. Continue over the bridge and the parking lot will be on the left-hand side. (Mariners Way) continue left into the parking lot following east along side the road until the paved road turns into a dirt lot. You will see our white van or trailer and we will be teaching at the cove to your right (west side)

2 Stand Up Guys are mobile and can come to you anywhere, however our 2 reccomended locations are Carlsbad Lagoon and Mission Bay. If you are interested in taking on the ocean, we have some great spots to get you started there too.
Have you got the basics down with SUP on flat water? Are you ready to hit the surf? 2 Stand Up Guys will get you out in the ocean and help you take your SUP skills to the next level.
Great for birthday parties and corporate events. We can accommodate up to 15 people. All you need to do is show up with a pair of board shorts or a swimsuit and we'll take care of the rest.
